Oak Canteen
This oak canteen was commissioned by, and designed in collaboration with, a client
needing to house an extensive canteen of silver cutlery. The true beauty of the rare and unusual
brown oak, sourced especially for this piece, was brought out by
burnishing, with a hand waxed finish.

Handmade Kitchen
This kitchen in warm 'Quebec yellow wood' evolved from an initial sketch drawing. Carefully drafted
detailed drawings ensured that best use was made of all available space. The arched raised panel doors
are complemented by leaded lights on the illuminated cupboards, and a hardwearing granite worksurface.

Restored Oak Settle
This lovely oak settle, found in a garden near Chatsworth, needed extensive
repair including the making of new cabriole legs to match the existing. The applewood and
pearwood inlays were restored and the back re-veneered. A light stain was applied and
the settle was given a Georgian oak wax finish.

Mahogany Staircase
This imposing mahogany staircase, with hand turned turned balusters and newel posts, was specially designed for a customer wanting to utilise a large first
floor 'gallery' area to exhibit a collection of artwork.
A maple floor provides a striking contrast, emphasising the fine lines of the staircase.

Shaker Occasional Tables
These hand made, waxed finish occasional tables are faithful facsimiles, both in dimension and design, of Shaker
candle tables. These ones are in pine, but this versatile design can be made in any wood including oak, cherry
and maple, or can be painted in a subtle colour in the traditional Shaker style.

Painted Bookcase
This contemporary painted bookcase, in a soft oil eggshell finish, neatly solved one family's storage problems. The
central section is open to allow borrowed light from a stained glass window in an adjoining
room and incorporates adjustable toughened glass shelving. The fluted mouldings add interest and detail.
